HRS §101-33
Interest and terms for taking possession
When a court lets a plaintiff take possession of property before the final judgment, the final judgment must include interest on the compensation from the date of that order until paid. Interest stops on any amount paid to the court clerk. The court can also set terms for surrender and handle related charges fairly.
