About LawTrove

Hawaiʻiʻs laws — the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes — run to more than twenty thousand sections, written for lawyers and organized by numbers nobody knows. Someone with an ordinary question has to find the right chapter out of several hundred and then read legal prose.

LawTrove holds the full text of every section, adds a plain-language summary on top of each one, and lets you search by describing your situation instead of knowing where to look. An assistant reads the sections your question surfaces and answers in plain words, citing the law for every claim it makes.

Every page links to the official text at capitol.hawaii.gov and shows the date our copy was taken. A plain-language restatement can be wrong in ways a reader cannot detect, so the authoritative source is always one click away — and LawTrove is not legal advice.
