Cooperative use of goods or services
This section lets government buying offices team up with other government offices, outside buying offices, or nonprofit health and human services groups to share goods or services. They can make their own deal without following the usual procurement rules, as long as they follow the policy board's regulations.

A public procurement unit may enter into an agreement, independent of the requirements of parts III and XII, with any other public procurement unit, external procurement unit, or nonprofit private health and human services organizations for the cooperative use of goods or services under the terms agreed upon between the parties pursuant to rules adopted by the policy board.
