HRS §111-1

Why this law exists: help for people displaced by government

This law says it is fair to help people who are forced to move because the government takes their property or enforces building, zoning, or housing rules. It sets one consistent policy for treating owners, renters, and businesses who are displaced. The goal is to make sure they are treated fairly.
