Losing state jobs after a dishonorable discharge

If a militia officer or enlisted member is dishonorably dismissed from the national guard, they cannot hold any state or county job unless the governor pardons them. This rule applies only to that situation.

Any officer or enlisted member of the militia who is dishonorably dismissed or discharged from the national guard, shall be disqualified from holding any office or employment in the service of the State, or any county, unless pardoned by the governor.
