HRS §128D-37
Oversight costs
This section explains how the department charges for oversight work: an hourly staff rate plus actual expenses, or a higher percentage when it hires outside contractors. Public or nonprofit groups may get a reduced or waived fee if the director thinks it helps the public. The department must send a yearly cost summary to each requester.
