HRS §138-9
Protection from lawsuits for 911 services
This law protects 911 service providers, call centers, and emergency responders from being sued for mistakes that cause injury, death, or property damage. The protection does not apply if they acted with gross negligence or intentional misconduct. It also protects them when they release customer information to the government as required by law.
