Certificate as evidence

This section says that certain official documents from an inspector or the Board of Agriculture and Biosecurity can be used as evidence in court. They are treated as strong proof of what they say, unless someone shows otherwise.

The statute, as written — Certificate as evidence

Any certificate made by an inspector pursuant to section 147-7 or any written finding of the board of agriculture and biosecurity pursuant to section 147-8 shall be admissible in evidence in all courts of the State as presumptive evidence of all facts and matters therein stated.
