HRS §149A-32.5
Cancellation or suspension of pesticide uses
This section says the agriculture board chairperson, with the pesticide committee and health director's approval, must stop or limit pesticide use if it harms the environment. They must check this when pesticide residue shows up in drinking water or when a special local use involves a pesticide the EPA has already suspended or canceled.
