HRS §172-6

What counts as proof the government is owed commutation

This section says that certain official papers are enough to show the government is owed a commutation payment. These papers are the board's award, a certificate from the land department about the appraisal and unpaid amount, and a clerk's publication certificate. They serve as basic proof in a land title case.
