HRS §180-10

Adding land to an existing irrigation district

This section explains how to ask the state to add land to an existing irrigation district. You file a petition with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the same steps as forming a new district apply. If fewer than 25 land occupiers are in the area, a majority of them can sign the petition and no vote is needed.
