HRS §190D-24
Konohiki fishing rights stay protected
This section says that the rules in this chapter do not change or reduce konohiki fishing rights that are already recognized under another law. The board cannot give a lease that conflicts with or harms those rights. Any fishing or marine activity in konohiki grounds must follow all state laws and rules.
