Preparing the tourism plan with state goals

The tourism authority must work with the planning office to create and regularly update a tourism plan. This plan must include the state's tourism economic goals, the authority's own strategic plan, and the Hawaii 2050 sustainability plan.

Pursuant to section 226-55, the authority, in coordination with the office of planning and sustainable development, shall prepare and periodically update the tourism functional plan to include tourism economic goals set out in chapter 226, the authority's strategic plan, and the Hawaii 2050 sustainability plan.
