HRS §219-1

Why the state is creating an aquaculture loan program

This section explains why the state is setting up a loan program for aquaculture. It says fish farming could be a good business for Hawaii, but banks usually won't lend money to start new industries. No state agency currently helps, so the state will create a loan program to support this new industry.
