Publishing new laws after each legislative session

After each legislative session ends, the revisor of statutes must prepare all newly passed laws for publication. The laws are arranged in the order they were enacted, with an index and tables showing which existing laws were changed. This section only covers the publication process.

The statute, as written — Publishing of session laws

As soon as possible after the close of each session of the legislature, the revisor of statutes shall prepare for publication all laws duly enacted at such session, arranged in the order of their becoming law, together with a suitable index and tables showing what general statutes have been affected by the session laws.
