This section lets executive departments help the courts and the legislature, but it does not give the governor or any department power to control how they are organized, run, or spend money.

Any executive department may provide services to the judiciary and the legislature, but nothing in this part and this chapter shall be construed as granting any authority to the governor or any department to exercise control over the organization, programs, functions, operations, and expenditures of the judiciary and the legislature.
