Police can test pilots after accidents

This section says that the rules in this chapter do not stop police from taking a breath or blood sample from a pilot to test for intoxication after an accident that injures or kills someone. It only clarifies that this is allowed.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent a law enforcement officer from obtaining a sample of breath or blood as evidence of intoxication from the operator of any aircraft involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person.
