Where utilities must keep their records

A public utility must keep certain records, books, papers, accounts, and other documents inside Hawaii. The public utilities commission decides which records are needed for regulation. This section only sets where records must be kept.

A public utility shall keep and maintain within the State such records, books, papers, accounts, and other documents as the public utilities commission may determine are necessary to its effective regulation.
