State's lawyer in court cases

The attorney general must represent the State in all higher courts for any criminal or civil case where the State is a party or has an interest. They can also appear in district courts the same way. This section only covers who appears for the State.

The attorney general shall appear for the State personally or by deputy, in all the courts of record, in all cases criminal or civil in which the State may be a party, or be interested, and may in like manner appear in the district courts in such cases.
