HRS §286-241.4
When the state can suspend or revoke a commercial driver's license
The driver examiner can suspend, revoke, cancel, mark as not-certified, or downgrade a commercial driver's license or permit without a hearing if there is reason to believe the driver is disqualified. The examiner must also deny or suspend the license if the child support agency says the driver is not paying support or ignoring a paternity or child support order. The driver and employer must be told, and the license must be turned in. The license can only be reinstated after the child support agency or court approves.
