HRS §291-29

Lights required on both sides of most vehicles at night

This law says that vehicles not covered by another rule must have a light on each side, visible from all directions for at least 200 feet, while on public roads during the times that other law covers. It applies to most vehicles on the road.

All vehicles other than those specified in section 291-25 shall during the time mentioned in such section when upon the public highway, carry a lighted light on the extreme width of each side so arranged that a light from the lamps shall be visible in every direction at least two hundred feet.
