HRS §302A-127

How the Senate checks governor's school board picks

When the governor picks people for the Board of Education, the Senate must review them. The Senate looks at the whole group to make sure it has a mix of skills, experiences, and backgrounds. This helps serve students, families, schools, and libraries across Hawaii.
