Tell the state agency early about your construction project

If you plan a construction project, you must send a letter of intent to the state agency as soon as possible during planning. The letter must give enough detail to explain the project's scope and nature.

Persons proposing construction projects shall submit to the state agency letters of intent in such detail as may be necessary to inform the agency of the scope and nature of the projects at the earliest possible opportunity in the course of planning of such construction projects.
