HRS §329-127

Return of seized cannabis and other property

This section says police must give back cannabis or related property right away if a court decides the person is protected under the medical cannabis law. Police do not have to care for live plants. Out-of-state patients get the same protection, but property cannot be sent outside the island where it was seized.
