HRS §329B-5
Drug testing procedures and test results
Before a drug test, the person being tested must get a written list of the drugs being tested for, plus a warning that over-the-counter or prescription drugs can cause a positive result. Labs can only test for the drugs on that list. The state must make rules about the medical review officer, how results are shared, and keeping test information private.
