Job training help for blind and visually impaired people

The state's human services department must offer job training and related help to blind and visually impaired people, following federal laws and state rules. This help is only available if enough money is set aside by the state, given by the federal government, or donated.

The statute, as written — Vocational rehabilitation of blind

The department of human services shall provide vocational rehabilitation for blind and visually handicapped persons in accordance with the provisions of the federal Vocational Rehabilitation Act and the Randolph-Sheppard Act and in accordance with chapter 348, to the extent permitted by the amount appropriated, funds available from the federal government, and other donations, and grants.
