State approves existing federal prison contracts

This section says that all current contracts between the state and the federal government about housing, feeding, caring for, and employing federal and military prisoners are approved. These contracts stay in effect until they end on their own. The law does not make these contracts invalid.

The statute, as written — Validity of existing contracts

All existing contracts with the federal government relating to imprisonment, subsistence, care, and proper employment of federal and military prisoners are hereby ratified by the State and shall continue in effect until they expire by their own terms.
