State not liable for extra benefits

This section says the State only pays extra unemployment benefits if the law allows them, if the law hasn't been changed or canceled, and if there is money in the special fund. It does not create a right to more benefits beyond what the law and fund provide.

The statute, as written — Nonliability of State

Additional unemployment benefits shall be deemed to be due and payable under this chapter only to the extent provided in this chapter, subject to amendment or repeal thereof, and to the extent that moneys are available therefor to the credit of the additional unemployment compensation fund.
