Employer bankruptcy does not let insurer stop paying

This section requires every insurance policy under this chapter to include a clause saying that if the employer goes bankrupt, the insurer must still pay temporary disability benefits for the life of the policy.

Every policy and contract of insurance issued for the purposes of this chapter shall contain a provision to the effect that the insolvency or bankruptcy of the employer and the employer's discharge therein shall not relieve the insurer from the payment of temporary disability benefits during the life of the policy or contract.
