HRS §415A-28

Which existing corporations this law covers

This section says the law applies to professional corporations formed under earlier state laws that this law replaces. Other corporations can choose to follow this law by filing a change with the director. The law does not force any other corporation to follow it, and it does not change actions or rules made before July 1, 1987.
