HRS §421C-41
Electric cooperatives must report unclaimed property
This section says that the general unclaimed property law does not apply to electric utility cooperatives. Instead, each cooperative must file an annual report with the finance director about unclaimed property it holds. The cooperative stays responsible for paying any claims on that property.
