HRS §431:10B-111
Claims
This section says how insurance claims must be handled. Claims must be reported quickly, kept in files, and paid as soon as possible according to the policy. Payments go to the person owed, and only the insurer or its claim representative can settle claims. Creditors cannot be claim representatives.
