When the insurer must deliver your long-term care policy

If your application for long-term care insurance is approved, the insurance company must send you the policy or certificate within 30 days after the approval date. This section only sets that delivery deadline.

If an application for a long-term care insurance contract or certificate is approved, the issuer shall deliver the contract or certificate of insurance to the applicant no later than thirty days after the date of approval.
