HRS §431:2-105
Deputies and employees of the insurance commissioner
This section sets up the staff for the insurance commissioner. It creates a chief deputy who can act for the commissioner, allows other deputies and assistants, and makes the commissioner responsible for their official actions. It also lets the commissioner require employees to be bonded, with the state paying the cost.
