HRS §431:32-109
How travel insurance is classified and sold
This section says travel insurance is treated as a type of inland marine insurance for rate and form filing. It can be sold as individual, group, or blanket policies. Companies can set eligibility rules based on specific marketing channels, as long as those rules meet state standards for inland marine.
