HRS §432:2-201
Membership rules for a fraternal benefit society
This section says a fraternal benefit society must write down its membership rules in its own laws or rules. It must cover who can join each class, how to join, and what rights each class has. Only members with benefits can vote on insurance matters. Social members cannot vote, and membership cannot be transferred.
