HRS §432D-1.5

How trade associations can get group health insurance

A real trade association can ask a health plan to treat its members as one group for insurance. The association must exist for other reasons, not just to buy insurance. The plan cannot limit what other insurance options the association offers. This only applies if at least two members want coverage.
