HRS §437B-13
Invoices for car repairs must list work and parts
A repair shop must give you a written invoice for all work, including warranty work. The invoice must list services and parts separately, with prices and taxes shown separately. It must say if any parts are used, crash, rebuilt, or reconditioned. You get one copy, and the shop keeps one.
