HRS §440-27

No financial interest in boxers for officials and licensees

This section stops certain people involved in boxing from getting paid by promoters or having a financial stake in a fighter. It applies to commission members, staff, appointees, and license holders. Money held in escrow for someone else is not considered compensation, and the commission can still be paid to supervise contests.
