HRS §453-32.1
How to renew your license and what happens if you don't
You must renew your license by January 31 of every even-numbered year, pay a fee, and meet continuing education rules. The board may audit you randomly, and you must show proof of education within 60 days. If you fail to renew or pass an audit, your license is forfeited and may be restored only with a written request, a fee, and proof. If it stays forfeited for one renewal term, it is gone for good.
