Limited and temporary licenses

If you qualify to take the required exam but haven't taken it yet, the director can give you a temporary license. It only lasts until the next exam is finished. This section is narrow and only covers that temporary license.

The director may issue a limited and temporary license to an applicant who has not been examined as required by section 457B-6, if the applicant is otherwise qualified to be examined. Such a license shall be effective only until the next licensure examination process has been completed.
