HRS §457J-6

Who does not need a midwifery license

This section lists people who do not need a midwifery license, like certified nurse-midwives, certain licensed professionals, students, and people helping family or in emergencies. It also says invited guests at a birth are not breaking the law, and this law does not create any criminal penalties.
