Suing for harm from a violation

If someone breaks the rules in section 481T-3 and you are hurt by it, you can sue them in court. You can ask for a court order to stop the harm, and you can also get money for your losses, plus extra damages and legal costs.

The statute, as written — Private right of action

Any party, or assignee, authorized agent, or licensee of that party, who is injured as a result of the person's violation of section 481T-3 may bring a civil action for appropriate legal and equitable relief, including injunctive relief, and for treble damages, reasonable attorney's fees, filing fees, and costs for the injured party.
