HRS §485A-807

Protection for delaying a payment or transaction

If you are a qualified person and you delay a disbursement or transaction in good faith and with reasonable care, following the rules in section 485A-806, you cannot be held liable by an agency or in court for that delay.

A qualified person who, in good faith and exercising reasonable care, complies with section 485A-806 shall be immune from any administrative or civil liability that might otherwise arise from a delay of a requested disbursement or transaction in accordance with that section.
