HRS §490:9-341
Bank's rights and duties for deposit accounts with security interests
A bank keeps its normal rights and duties for a deposit account even when someone puts a security interest on it, unless the bank agrees in writing to change them. The bank's knowledge of the interest or instructions from the secured party do not change its rights or duties.
