HRS §501-143

How liens on registered land are enforced

A lien on registered land is enforced the same way as a lien on unregistered land. When registered land is sold or taken to pay a debt, tax, or lien, the legal papers from that process must be filed with the assistant registrar and noted on the title as an adverse claim.
