HRS §501-87
No adverse possession or prescription on registered land
This section says you cannot gain ownership or rights to land that is registered under this law just by using it over time or by adverse possession. There is one narrow exception for people already in possession when the first owner registered with only a possessory title. Registered land also cannot be taken by the government under the surrender law.
