HRS §516-26
Sharing of compensation paid by the corporation
This section says that everyone with an ownership interest in the property—fee owner, lessor, and all legal and equitable owners—gets a share of the money the Hawaii housing finance and development corporation pays, based on their interest. If a developer or other person has a right to lease rentals, they also share in that money, either by agreement or, if no agreement, through arbitration under chapter 658A.
