HRS §607-2
Where court fees must be deposited
This section says where court fees go. Most fees collected by judges, clerks, sheriffs, and deputy sheriffs must be put into the state's general fund. But some fees, like those for electronic services, go to a special computer fund, and fees that repay officers for their costs are handled differently.
