HRS §658A-2
How to give and receive notice
This section explains how notice is given and received. You give notice by doing what is reasonably needed to inform someone in the normal course, even if they don't actually learn about it. You receive notice when it comes to your attention or is delivered to your home, business, or another place you designated.
